Incidently, I was told by one of the other outfits that imports the Indian Guns, that all the breeching for all Indian guns is done by a separate, single company, due to quality problems. If that is true, then Military Heritage guns are breeched at the same place as all the others.
: The importing companies are very tight-lipped on technicalities, even those who profess being BP gunsmiths. It took 3 weeks of bantering back and forth to get that information.
: BTW - all of the French Muskets, if represented accurately, are the same whether from Mil Heritage or Middlesex. Compare them yourselves, they are the SAME pictures of the SAME guns. They also appear to be head and shoulders above the Besses for quality. I would guarantee as much as possible, that they are made by a different company than makes the Besses- for either, perhaps.
