A successful opening weekend in Minnesota with my newly acquired TC Greyhawk! Utilized 225 grain .54 sabot and 100 grains powder. Very excited to use this rifle more and hopefully search out a TC Firestorm to try for a flintlock harvest next season.

Good morning t_carlyle and congratulations on a successful hunt. That's a dandy buck and you are sure to be pumped about how your opening day unfolded. That's wonderful and keep it up! I've owned a number of TC's over the years and they have served me well with hours of enjoyment and plenty of meat in the freezer.

Not to steal any of your thunder at all, but you might be wondering if anyone else is going to give you a thumbs up or the such. I think a few of them may be at a loss to know what to say or how to act, as you see, this site doesn't slip into the 'Unmentionables' that sabots are looked upon in this neather region of patched round balls and pure lead conical bullets. yet, I for one am glad to see your post and wish you much more success as you navigate this world of traditional muzzleloading hunting. stay with us and keep bringing your enthusiasm. holding my grandson now so need to sign off. Cheers!
