I don’t know anything about Miroku locks except that I have one on a Dixie TMR that I just bought. My lock is well used and I understand that replacement parts are hard to find. My lock plate is entirely different than yours
but that frizzen just might ...... Does anyone here know anything more about Miroku flintlocks?
This looks like a lock I recently used to resurrect an old CVA Colonial pistol kit that the lock had been screwed up on. It fit the lock inlet perfect just had to take some wood out inside to accommodate the bridle. Actually has a posted bridle. The coating on it feels like 400 grit sandpaper but once you clean that off the interior it works nice. Throws a nice spark, The flint in it is starting to look more like a creek pebble but it is still throwing sparks. Does not have a fly so not for set triggers. Seems to be a nice little lock.
