Missing Goex and T7 3f

Has anyone mixed blackpowder with 3f t7 and if so was it more reliable than just t7 or not?

Why bother mixing? You can't improve on either T7 or BP. Use one or the other.

I wouldn't ruin a perfectly good batch of real blackpowder by mixing 777 or any bp sub into it.

Now if you mean using layered loads, using some BP as an igniter charge to get the substitute powders to ignite better, that works fine.

ie: 20grns Goex 3F under 50/60/70grns Pyrodex RS for example works fine to help get rid of a bp sub
