Wrong forum, this is pre 1865 only.
My mistake but as I viewed the forum it seemed to be a permissible activity as the others on here are certainly not pre-1865. I advertised here to purchase a shotgun and it was not an issue that it was not pre-1865.

Your ad wanting a shotgun never specified that you want a modern one, just a 12 gauge, which we would take to mean an old flint or percussion as this is a pre-1865 (or replicas thereof) forum.

Maybe not so much pre-1865 but definitely traditional muzzleloaders. The CVA Optima is basically a modern rifle that just happens to load from the front. Better off seeking one on the modern muzzleloader forum.
