Mixing black powder and Pyrodex?

We really don't need to see on Youtube just how badly you can screw up mixing different propellants based on different explosives science.

Unless, of course, you're doing it for a bet.

Me, I'd like to think that you might be able to write your 800th post, but it's your life, you must do as you think best, right?
 
Dale, when Pyrodex came out the main criticism was slower or
difficult ignition. Then Fadala and others addressed the issue.
Duplex loads were discussed. Caps back then were iffy. It is
important that the precharge be small. So 10grs of 4f with
50 grs Pyrodex in a Mountain Rifle is what is done. I use
5 grs on most subs. Lately I'm experimenting with Blackhorn.
The cons is it slows down loading. You do not mix the powders.
One is loaded before the other-not mixed.
