Well I'll add some more here.
I spend 40-60 hrs a week on concrete, in required steel toe boots. Most of the areas I traverse when not at work is the wood floor, paved or concrete parking lot's and sidewalks. Something our ancestors didn't have to deal with at all.
Not only do I wear socks, my Moc's have linners with elevated heel and insole supports.
If I had nothing between my foot and the ground but a leather/hide moccasin, I could step on a Dime and tell ya what year it was stamped.
("Ouch! 1987!")
If man was ment too walk on cement, our feet would be 16"s long, 6"s wide and 4"s thick! :haha:
