Didn't weigh 'em; but after dragging them all the way back to the river (the cover was thick and nasty!) I was exhausted! They were nice-sized--at least for me--I've taken much smaller! The 80+ year-old I mentioned who was with me took a 4x4 that made these does look like fawns! (but he was hunting 'modern')
 
Sorry, Armakiller, for not answering one of your questions. This was opening day. I shot these two does at mid-day, less than an hour apart.
