I got back last night. I had to pass on a bull at about 180 yards, but I dropped a calf at 70 the day before yesterday! .50 CVA Mountain rifle, 90 grains 2f 777, 365 grain conical, and a #11 CCI cap. The bullet penetrated both lungs, and ended up lying against the offside ribs. What a blast!
 
Yep, she flattened out to the bottom of the hollow point, little over .63 cal at the widest point, and it wieghs 342 grains still. Purty good performance I thought. Thanks for the congrats boys. Can't wait to try for deer with the flinter.
 
I don't have a digital camera, or scanner, but after I get back from Parry Sound, I'll post some from a friends PC. Hopefully I'll have some whitetail pics to go with my calf.
