Any feedback on these? Need to replace the nipple on my Investarms Hawken and happened to come across these. Thanks for any input.

I have some in stock.
They are the equivalent of the hotshot nipple design.
I stock and sell as many accessories as I can as a hobby.

MSM is short for Mountain State Muzzleloading, they are in West Virginia. They make all kinds of nipples; standard styles in both steel & stainless steel, & their Spitfire line which are similar to the Hotshot nipples from Uncle Mikes.
I believe MSM is the manufacturer & wholesaler of a wide range of muzzleloading equipment, while their retail subsidiary is Cain's Outdoors. Here's a couple of links to their regular nipple line & the Spitfires; http://www.cainsoutdoor.com/shop/product.asp http://www.cainsoutdoor.com/shop/product.asp

I've been using the MSM nipples almost exclusively for over ten years, in handguns, rifles, & muskets, & have been very pleased with the quality. They also do nipples with oversized threads which are handy for some original guns. They also make a nice line of one piece stainless range rods that I have a number of; http://www.cainsoutdoor.com/shop/product.asp
in addition to more 'traditional' wooden & flexible rods that are carried on the gun.

as far as I know they are out of business. cant find them on line.

As mentioned they are cainsoutdoors now. I talked to the owner a few years back either by phone or email, I don't remember but he had some issues with his partner that couldn't be resolved so they split ways and he became cains. I did business with both years back and never had any problems with my orders. I don't know if he still has MSM products or not.

they don't have a website. Under their manufacturing name.
They have relocated.
But as above a retail outlet the appear to operate.
But they are still available.

They(Treso) moved to Montana this past fall.
Last I heard he was still setting up shop, and had not as yet updated the website.

My wholesaler says they will let me know when.
But their info has been slow in coming out too.
