boiling some horns today for a go at making small powder horns.has anyone tried these or should they go for self nocks on my longbow I,ll see when I get the cores out.thanks
 
core to small for any powder.maybe 200gr but I will try to get something out of them :hmm:
 
It sounds like they would make great priming horns. 200 grains is a lot of prime powder.While many prime from their main horn, I am somewhat of a klutz and prefer a smaller priming horn to reduce the amount of powder spilled. :hmm: :idunno:
