Wow! And I thought the prices in the 90's were good (I stumbled into an old stash I forgot was at my parents house)
1946 I was 4 years old then, The 1970 DGW catalog I just received has some prices about like that flints $2.00 for a dozen (sigh).
In 1970 I was making $2.50 an hour pulling lumber off a green chain in a sawmill. We need to keep things in perspective.
