Just got my .32 coning tool from Joe. Opened it up followed the directions and in just a little bit my .32 CVA Kentucky pistol was so much easier to load. My Kibler .32 SMR is up next.
Joe’s tool is top notch. I ordered it on a Monday and had it on a Friday. Fast service nice tool that works great! Highly recommend one to anyone wanting to cone it yourself. Fail safe and easy to use

I went out and shot my .40 cal after coning with Joes tool. It was amazing to me that the accuracy did not waiver. I only had time to shoot 5 shots. The proof is in the pudding. No issue at all. This is a match grade Rice barrel which shot great before. Here are the results after. Absolutely no fatigue on the parches. I think this takes to stress off of the patching while loading. I highly recomen this tool. It took me about 1.5 hrs to complete the process. Follow his directions for easy success.

I assembled a Kibler Colonial in .58 as primarily a hunting rifle for this years Wisconsin ML season. Ease of loading and accuracy was essential. I decided to cone the barrel with Joe Woods coning tool. The rifle performed flawlessly; two shots and two does down.

To all,

Ordered a 50 caliber tool from Mr. Wood, who is very pleasant and helpful.

It was delivered this past Saturday and by Monday afternoon I was able to cone two of my barrels. It is nice not to need to carry a leather mallet or short starter any longer.

To Mr. Wood, Thank you.
I need a coning tool in .40.
