My Jan/Feb issue of Muzzleloader announces that it will no longer be on newsstands due to cost issues. Subscriber only. This is an excellent publication, and all should subscribe in order to support it. I can see why anything on a newsstand involves extra costs to middlemen, un-sold returns, all that stuff. I'm re-newing for sure.

Dang that sucks
I’m a subscriber now but I first learned about its existence when I came upon it as a kid in a newsstand. The picture of an Indian with flintlock looking across a wooded river instantly caught my interest. Might not have gotten into muzzleloading at all if it wasn’t for that serendipitous event.

I wish it was still on the stands. I like going to Barnes and Noble and checking the new magazines one of which is Muzzleloader. I might subscribe but I'm a little worried about the delayed deliveries and I like reading about western themed articles which when they have them are real good. Seems like the reason is usually the printer. They should get another printer. I'll see.

The delayed deliveries were due to the publisher having real life get in the way. It would have been just as late at the newsstands.

I've been a subscriber for years. But the last issue was really late and so far, I have not yet received the Jan/Feb issue, although I have heard that others received theirs a week ago.
One that I usually buy off the rack at WallyWorld is "Backwoodsman", but that has not been available in the store lately.
Hard times for the magazine industry.

I never pay attention. When it comes, it comes. Mine came a while back.

Used to buy Muzzleloader and the Buckskin Report at Mountain State Muzzleloading. Gave me an excuse to go to the LGS. Been a ML subscriber except for one lapse since 1979. Sure miss the Report though. I too await USPS delivering the current issue, but tens of thousands of folks in Houston are still waiting to have Christmas packages delivered. I must be patient.

Sighh......I can't even get my subscription sent to me. It's a great magazine for sure but seems like it keeps coming later and later & in this case not at all. Guess it's time to make a phone call

No kidding. I received the Nov/Dec issue a couple weeks ago after calling their office twice. Still waiting for the Jan/Feb issue. Guess I'll call again.

Must be happening a lot with print magazines. Not to derail, but I belong(ed) to a group (ARRL) that cancelled my print subscription to go digital and told me I'd need to pay $16 more to get the printed magazines for the remainder of my annual membership. BS. I terminated my membership.

Yeah this may be my last hurrah for my subscription.
