Hi all- Hopefully you can help me identify this gun
72” with wooden ram rod

Is 72" the over all length? Some old fowlers had 5 foot barrels. Interesting.

Hi,
It looks like an English waterfowling gun from the late 18th or early 19th century. The locks likely was replaced when it was converted to percussion from flintlock. It has private Tower proof marks, which means the barrel was made before 1810 or so.

Neat ol' gun. Thanks for posting. We used to call those "Cornstalk guns", for no particular reason that I can recall right now. One of my favorite types, They'd kill anything with hair or feathers. Thanks again.
