My .58 cal. CVA Mountain Rifle

Why 562? Personally I want something more than my 54, so would want at least 570.

Hmm the .562 seems plenty accurate at 25 yards with Walmart blue pillow ticking and 85 grains by volume of my homemade black powder. Three shots close together happy so far with the results.

My CVA Mountain likes the .562 ball and especially when I use wheel weight lead to cast balls. Also have the .570 but the gun seems to like them less.

I have not found a .570 mold yet

Lyman sells a .570 rb mold. Check with Log Cabin. Only drawback is you have to buy handles, lee come with them

The original owner refinished the stock to look like maple it looks very good. I did a little work on the trigger it needed to be raised so the lock functions correctly and a new set screw for the set trigger now it's all good.

"You want more that a .54 cal" nothing wrong with that but a .54 ball will take down a Tyrannosaurus Rex? LOL!
