Killed this buck with my Bergmann made .45 Hawken squirrel rifle. First year hunting this rifle and have really enjoyed it. Took 3 whitetail so far with it this year

I hunt a 1500 acre tract in Central MS We have managed hard for years and strive to take only mature bucks. I was watching a doe n yearling feed at 40 yds contemplating her fate when he grunted uphill from them. He came in grunting And I took him at 35 or so yds broadside. 350 gr Lyman Gould hp blew up in him after passing thru near shoulder. Bullet was pushed by 48 gr by weight of T7 3f. He ran 15 yds n was dead when I got there.
