Today I looked at an Italian .36 caliber Colt replica. It appears new and is in a beautiful wooden display box. Included are a flask, nipple wrench, and about a dozen round balls. I think I'll go back for it in the morning. The price is $250.

Brass frame is OK in 36 cal. Not so much in 44.

I shot out two .36cal brassers and a .44
Everyone was saying that the brass is better now than it was in the 70s so I bought a new brasser and its already toast. you do you but I would not buy one for anything other than a wall hanger and I don't really do wall hangers.

That's a deal. But what Nick said, the brass will stretch. Whatever you decide, hope it works out and you have a good time shooting her.

Not a brass frame.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say the bullet (round ball) mold was included. I hope it's still there in the morning. I've been wanting a .36 and a .31 caliber revolver. I have several .44s.
I now have an actual pic of it. Yesterday I used someone else's pic and got called on it. Not by the person who's pic I used, but someone else objected.

I've had brassers before and have a new one now, I didn't load them with full steel frame loads and mine haven't been hammered (they don't stretch they get hammered, imprinting the back of the cylinder on the brass frame). None of mine have any problems because I kept my loads for .36 under 15 grains and loads for .44 under 20 grains.

Not a brass frame. I thought I took a pic, but my phone evidently didn't cooperate.

This is someone else's pic off of here but it looks like what I looked at. I'm pretty sure the box is arranged slightly different though, seems like there were a couple more small compartments. The one I found did not have the loading lever detached, because I unlatched it and pulled it down to look at the marking on the bottom of the barrel. For that price I'd go back now.

Dusty Traveler, I apologize for using your pic. I have changed to another.

That's a great deal! Go buy it! I love my .36 Navy. Doesn't eat up a lot of lead or powder and very pleasant to shoot. Both of my boys learned to shoot a bp revolver with it.

I now have it. Sorry for any problems this thread caused. I might need to just enjoy my guns and stay off the 'net.
You got a great deal, hope you enjoy it!
Oh and no need to stay off the net, someone is always going to get their nose bent out of shape over something no matter what we do. Heck you can make the comment that the sky is blue and someone will angrily argue with you that it's azure........ Just ignore em.
