My great grand dad is the one on the far left.

My relative fought in the Indian Wars! Daniel Guthrie, and my other relative signed the Declaration of Independence John Rutledge.

More on this later, but great history ahead!

Some great research here, on the cemetary where Daniel is buried! A look back! My father took me here as a child. This is one old cemetary, with mostly fighters buried.

Pretty neat history in your family. Which colony were your relations representing? And..is that a John Deere?

Yea but that's 16.5 steam horse Power! A lot of those steam tractors came from England I think. Nice picture :front:
Lehigh..

Neat picture. Ain't history cool - especially stuff about your own kin?!

High Power,
Very nice to have a photo history of past
family. Do you happen to know what year the picture
was taken??
snake-eyes :hmm:

My Momma's Grandparent's & their two-horsepowder log skid.

Some low-life scummy rat scab broke into my Mother's house between our trips to move her into a nusring home after Dad passed away and stole a trunk which had some of the older family photos and documents. Daguerreotypes of Levi & other family members in CW uniform (and some of his CW items) - one of whom died at Cold Harbor.

What a lot of neat pictures. I'd show pictures too, but we couldn't afford the crayons - then & now.
