Assembled my end this weekend. Very impressed at the precision of the kit..
I will post some pics when I get the finish on now it is just another white rifle

Looking forward to the pictures philip! I assembled one for myself, and was so impressed with how accurate it was, I finished one for my son for Christmas. He used it to take a doe in our Mountaineer Heritage season this past January. Both of ours are in .45. What caliber did you get?

Mine is .36 I plan on hunting small game.

smr....pronounced smur or smear? I have always wondered. Somebody finally told me not long ago that smr stands for southern mountain rifle.....unless they were lying to me.
