In January at the Amerucan Firearms Engravers Guild exibition in Sparks Nv.
My gun won the top four awards. Engravers Choice award, Artistic uniqueness,Best engraved shotgun[ from Connecticut valley shotgun] and Tied with C.J.Cai for best metal on metal inlay award.

Looks like I need to get back to the engraving bench-and the rifle bench.
We are moving into a house that has potentially more room for my shop, and I'm going to add a stand-up engraver's pedestal so I can do barrels.

Hi Jerry,
Magnificent!! Are you sure you didn't apprentice with Boutet? There are only a few people in the world still capable of doing that kind of work. I am amused when folks ask how many hours it took to do such work. It is hours x skill x knowledge that is needed. Most people have the hours but they lack the skill and knowledge. Thanks for sharing the photos.
