So far my daughter has my Overpowder Card and Cleaning Patch contracts. I pay her $2 per 100. I guess when I get an English Gentlemen's Sporting Flinter I can have her clean it also, just like a true Member of the English Upper Crust.

There's a story in one of the books - copied from a newspaper? - the staff was cleaning the guns after a shoot, and someone snapped a flintlock. There was loose powder on the table, the sparks were evidently copious, and the servants got an unpleasant surprise.

Maybe your daughter can have fun like that, too.
