Hi all, I wanted to share my rifle with the forum. I received it from my father in 1981 as a gift for accomplishing my Eagle Scout Award. He always referenced it as the title states. He and Ted were friends/acquaintances. When my father traveled for sales and was in Ted's area he would stop by Ted's house and go down into the basement to see Ted's work. They would then go out to dinner or lunch. My father bought a twin to mine for my brother, a flintlock .50 Kentucky, and a 54 for Elk hunting. Cheers to all you muzzle stuffers and have a great summer. - Jim

Had I known that was at the end of the tunnel, I would have stayed in scouts. My good friend did become an Eagle scout.

I was on the Eagle Scout board of review back in the day and everyone got congratulations; but certainly were not aware of a gift of a lifetime this nice!

I was climbing fast in scouts till I got a car and a girlfriend:eek:

My oldest son did the same thing but was smarter than me and went back JUST before the deadline/age limit and got his. He is now a Lt Col. in the USAF. I dont have the car or the girlfriend no mo:(

But TODAY we celebrated 32 yrs ago for our first date, My wife a keeper (and has yet to find a way to get rid of meo_O)

What a wonderful gift, and a wonderful rifle !

It's not often that someone is able to make a caplock half-stock rifle that's as graceful as that one.

CONGRATS !
