My Trade Rifle is finally done.

For some reason which I don't understand I have wanted a J Henry Lancaster pattern Trade Rifle for as long as I can remember. Well finally finished it so I can cross that one off my bucket list. It was totally put together from parts that have been sitting around my workshop that I could modify to look Like a Henry rifle. It is kind of fancy for a trade rifle. Now I have to come up with a story on how an old grey beard mountain man got hold of such a fancy rifle.

Thats one fine job, especially since you put it together with spare parts you had laying around!! Let us know how she shoots

Looking good. The one I did for my son in the early 80s was put together with junk and flawed parts too.
