Yep. Some machine work reside leftover in a product that requires the end user to finish and assemble isn’t an issue whatsoever. Some folks just are very particular I guess.

I had the same pieces of metal in my Woodsrunner barrel. I cleaned it out easily and went on about my business. I don’t see an issue, it’s a kit folks, we sand and carve the stock, we draw file the barrel as well as sand the buttplate and other pieces. I guess a little cleaning in the bore before after assembling and before shooting doesn’t bother me too much.
