Make it yourself. Cut leather narrow enough to fit through the swivels. For the sling you can use the jute webbing that they sell for reupholstering. Sew the leather to both sides of the jute and you have a sling, probably won't cost you more than $3 and two hours of work.

Make it yourself. Any leather shop will have the leather. Pick a color & something thick enough. If you want it to last forever, use Latigo leather. You can also have them sew the loops on the ends, but I do suggest you have it laced together in the middle so you can adjust it. Or you can use a deer time to retain it like this on one end or both. The more you use them & the older better looking they get.

I love that sling...can we get a closeup of the rear of the sling? I want to see how that mounts up. I never thought of using deer tines on a sling before. I kept looking for buckles that weren't plated. Don't need em now. Gonna try that out. Thanks, Tom

Some guys drill a hole through the front of the trigger guard and bolt a sling swivel there. I have used the sling "button" screwed into the stock about 3" behind the trigger guard on a couple of my guns, made my own buttons but the ones from TOW and Dixie are so cheap you can't make them for what they cost in time spent.

You can also use a leather thong for securing the adjustable front loop, here is a picture of one:

I have also used the "pairs of holes" and a thong. Hope this helps some.

This is one of the Pedersoli short shotguns with real narrow .75 inch wide swivels. I need a sling that will adjust but be strong enough to hold the gun with such a narrow width sling.

I bought a belt at an Army Navy surplus store, made of leather, removed the buckle, and made a fixed length sling by sewing the ends around the swivels. I used rawhide" Latigo" leather boot laces thongs for the sewing. ;unched four holes and laced it like you would your shoes. You can make the belt/sling as wide as you like, but simply cut the ends down narrow enough to fit the swivels. The Cost of the project, at the time, was $1.39. The Sling is still on the rifle, and it still works fine. I make a " hasty sling " out of it, wrapping my forearm around the sling to give tension on the sling when I am shooting off-hand.

A piece of leather, .75 inches wide, will be more than strong enough to hold your gun. You can buy a strip (belt blank) .75X72" for about $13.

Or, use a wider strip and taper it at the ends.
