Naval jelly

I accidentally found another use for naval jelly besides removing rust. It removes blueing too.
I got my dad's old .30-06 (don't shun me for mentioning a centerfire) :: and it was all rusted up so I used naval jelly on it. Made that metal as shiney as a new dime!
I re-bleud her and all is good.
