A neighbor who is moving just gave me these. Any idea of the age of these caps? Did they come with a piece of foam in the lid of the tin? That orange substance in the lid had me curious. Thanks.

I have used them way back in the 70's in a Hawes revolver. I purchased them in the 70's along with the revolver. Half of them did not fire because the primer mix fell out of them and they were new at the time ☹ . Your mileage may vary - good luck with them.:horseback:
