Only issue had a small chip in walnut in front of right lock was repaired years ago. Box that was shipped to me states Magnum but is a standard 12 gauge gauge. $825.00 half of shipping. No PayPal. I think the "Magnum" infers the heavier Pietta shotgun, around 8 lbs. "Magnum", meaning handling heavier field loads, like 1 & 1/2 oz of #4's, and the recoil that goes with them. I had them over the decades. Believe the hammer design indicates the heavier model.

Thanks for the reply! That's very interesting. I have a circa 1970s model that is 5 pounds 12 ounces. I have an 80's 90's and 2000's models and they all weigh 7 pounds 4 ounces. I didnt know there was one that was in-between weight. I'm really looking for another 5 pound something late model. Maybe mine are the same weight because all mine are Pedersoli. Hmmmm......

Hello, I'm interested can you please give me the measurements of the front of the comb and rear (Looks like in pic rear is 2")I have two original English SxS that fit me perfect. I have a CVA that the comb is to high I can't hit a thing with it and it slaps my face..

I do not know…..
To check to see if the barrels have any choke, use a dime. If the dime slides into the end of the barrel, there is no choke. If the dime won't go all the way in, then it probably has a modified choke in that barrel.

Thanks for the choke/dime tip. I’ll have to unpack it and try the dime. Currently in shop working on my boat.

Here is the measurement at front of comb and rear of stock. Hope this helps.

My recollection is that a dime won't fit into a full choke shotgun barrel, but it will fit snugly into a modified and somewhat loosely into an improved cylinder. This is not a good test for a jug choked barrel.
