To start, read the sticky notes at the top of the Smoothbore Forum. There are also two topics in the General Muzzleloading Forum, Tables and Information. One is the second topic and the other is at the bottom of the list.Thank you all for the help! I’m going to get it tomorrow! What all do I need for a shotgun? I’ve only used muzzle loading rifles and know nothing
CVA'S are going north of $600.00 +. I have a kit one that is 42 yrs old and is still going strong. and I won't sell it .I've had a gun like that since 1982-83 and have always been very pleased with it. The drop and trigger pull are just what I need. Shouldered quickly it lines up right on the bead for me. I've had very good results hunting bumped rabbits and passing doves with it.

thats a real beautiful pieceI have a Pietta Navy Arms double. Had it converted to flint, and both barrels jug choked (mod and improved). Fun gun to shoot. Got the gun for I think $250 about 20 years ago, then got it converted.
