Went to the local gun show today - mostly ammo, camo, & jerky.
I did see one neat thing tho - A cased Colt 1849 .31. with all original accessories. The thing that struck me was the case. It was a traveling (laptop) writing desk with 2 inkwells and a compartment for pens. The felt writing surface was actually a lid & when you lifted the lid, there was the .31 & gear! The paper supply was under a similar felt covered hatch in the top of the desk.
