I have a TC Greyhawk w/ synthetic stock. I am looking for a wood stock to put on it. Does anyone know what other TC stock might fit this barrel/lock? If so any ideas where to look for one?
Thanks, Firewalker TMA

The T/C Greyhawk, and the New Englander are similar. The Greyhawk has a 24" barrel, with rynite stock, and the New Englander has a 26" barrel, with a wood stock. Both round. However, they may interchange. Best bet: Call T/C, customer service, and ask (603) 332-2333

The New Englander, Black Moutain Magnum, and GreyHawk have identical stock patterns. I got this from T/C.
I own a GreyHawk and had the same idea, but T/C wanted over $200 for one. I got used to the synthetic stock and use it for deer hunting. I never worry about a scratch from briars.
Lonewolf did have a New Englander stock for sale. It was on the classifieds, but unfortunately, the classifieds are down, right now.

The thing I don't like about the synthetic stock is that they are so darn cold in the winter time. In Northern WI it gets darn cold and a nice wood stock is easier on the hands then a plastic stock.

I just like the looks of the wood. It's the only synthetic stock gun that I own. I only paid $100 for it, so I couldn't see putting a $200 stock on it. :nono:
I e-mailed Lonewolf, but it didn't deliver for some reason. I'll try again.

Must be one of those Twilight Zone things...

I've been playing with my GrayHawk lately and just last week I thought, "I wonder if I could put a wood stock on this thing...I'll bet a New Englander stock would fit..."

Maybe it's a sign...

The problem with buying another stock is justifying the price to She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed...

Another thing...

Is the New Englander the one that also comes with a shotgun barrel? If so, the shotgun barrel would fit my GreyHawk. Correct?

Yes, the New Englander could be had with both .50 and .54 cal rifle barrels, or a .12 ga shotgun barrel. They all interchange.
