No not the missing link.....ok well it is. :rotf: :youcrazy:

I found a trader, store, vendor, that sold a wooded end for ball bags. You sew the leather around the end of the bag. This wooden piece gives you an opening and a plug.

Any ideas who might have it??????

I'm in the process of making a pair right now. One for shot & one for .75 ball.
Shot has a .65 hole and the plug willbe the wad starter. The length will allow for filling a seated wad with 1 1/4 oz shot (sort of an automatic shot measure).
The plug on the ball bag will be a snug ball starter / powder measure combo.
I just love multi-task items!

Make your own with copper tubing flared at both ends then use a four in hand rasp to file a wooden plug to stopper it. Cut down the center of the plug and use a woodchip as a wedge to regulate the tightness.

Work with it -- it does a good job.
