I traded a guy my Walker for an 1858 Uberti Remington, and the loading lever broke on the first ball. My bad, I should have looked at it closer. Also discovered it’s a Gregorelli Uberti made in 1960. Does any one have a loading lever that would fit this?

If no one responds here VTIGUNPARTS dot com may have a replacement for you. I was not aware that GU made a 5.5” Remington that early so it may be a later gunsmith’s work.

They’re out of stock. I also had to buy a loading lever screw for this revolver, and that’s where I bought it. It works, but a little short.

Dex,
I’d like to pay for that lever when you find it. Never intended for that to happen for sure. Let me know.
I understand. I should have looked closer. That wasn’t the correct screw we were talking about either, so someone had been monkeying around with it. I ordered a screw, it works, but its actually a little to short. The only loading lever I’ve found that I think might work is on eBay for $119 plus shipping, and it’s for a pietta, so if you see one, or know a place to look, let me know. You can see what happened to it. It was super thin there. I had to file some jagged metal off to put it back in the gun.

I will look around also. Don’t know if a Pietta will fit but that may be the way to go. Sorry for all the problems with that gun. I shot a few rounds out of it so it must of been on its last leg. Will make it right regardless.

And to add to the complication, I believe it is a 6.5 barrel. And due to its age, and the parts being produced by Gregorelli, I’ve not seen any levers that match exactly. It’s 5” in total length.
