My 12 gauge single-barrel percussion shotgun needs a little help. The front of the hammer's eroded to the point it does not fully encapsulate the cap which allows fragments to escape. Also, the internals are worn and hammer's a bit loose. I still shoot it, but not with anyone standing on my right side.

Do not wish to replace the hammer, so what I need is someone to build up that portion and give the internals a bit of restoration. Anyone specializing in old locks? Thanks!

Website looks great. I'll definitely get in touch with them. This is not a rare, historic, nor particularly lovely gun although it's an original with a common "Spies" lock. One I like to hunt with I've had maybe 30 years and it suits me. Thanks again.
