Whoa! I think one pin is broken off. Easy fix, Two Feathers, no one will know ... well maybe those who see this will.. Otherwise that is one nice knife. My two suggestions: 1. drill a lanyard hole there. 2. Cut the top off another pin and epoxy it in the hole. I love your work. Polecat.

I think it's beautiful. A knife that will do anything. I'm guessing about a five, maybe five and a half inch blade? That's a handy size.

All ya'lls comments are much appreciated, except Polecat's, he's JUST plain nasty!! Polecat buddy, ya' know Im just bustin' ya'...right?. I appreciate everyone's comments even the occasional critical ones. They make me get better at what I do.
Now I need to get sheathes made for both of these "Works of Art"???? so I can list them. I'm hoping; from all the comments, (on both), that at least ONE of them will sell? Right now I'm crazy busy making ball bags and finishing a pre-ordered Chef's knife.

Hey Polecat, yeah the one pin is a might short, nope didn't break it. When the blade was in the knife vise and I had the handle slabs "C" clamped to the tang while the epoxy set, I made the mistake of rotating the knife 90 degrees to look at the spine and then rotatated it back flat, and left it that way. When I came back 24 hours later, the pin had slid out on one side about .050" and the epoxy had set, so I had no choice but to grind the pins and slabs to see how they looked, OR remove the whole handle and chuck 2 good looking pieces of Cury Maple in the trash and start over? The pin sets .013" under the surface Not enough to be anything buy cosmetically upsetting!! The pin is still 99% of the way through the entire handle and solid.

I'm going to take it back to the shop and "remove .013" of wood and refinish the handle. You'll never know it was short, because it won't be.
I'm glad you brought it up. I didn't want to try passing off a piece of crap work without at least TRYING to correct it!

Thank you buddy. Very good eye! You hit it about dead on? Actually 5.25" handle to point! The blade is exactly 1.25" wide. The overall is zackerly 9". It has a hefty "man sized" handle!

Yer good enough to stop with the model names - just list any you make as a "knife for sale"......

Once someone eyeballs your pics, nothing else is needed beside specs like blade length, etc.

Very nice, indeed - working man's knives, not show pieces.
