Hey fellers, finished up a Nessy last week and got Miss Tudy to make a rawhide sheath for it. Di something a little different on this one. I used a maple burl for a spacer and a piece of scrap brass for the pommel.
The sheath has a veg tanned liner and on the fringe, Tudy used some beads and a bobcat toe bone. hope y'all like and as usual we appreciate it...

Nifeman, that's one of sweetest knife-and-sheath combinations you and Miss Tudy have created.
Ya'll need to be proud.
That reminds me, I have one of your Nessmuk blades somewhere and it is begging to be finished. I'll be a lucky fellow if I can come up with anything 5 percent as nice as that fine article.

Thanky Bill, yea you'll have get it done and send me a picture. It's hard using it if ya just got a tang  ...Bud

Should have said it's in the Nessmuk style, with the upswept blade and hump towards the tip. For me they help control during delicate skinning...Bud

I Googled Nessmuk style knife images and, of course, got a variety on the style. But, in all, I like that upswept blade and am taking a fancy to it. Hhmmmm......do I feel a project urge coming on me..... :hmm:

All it takes is time and effort  ...Bud
(Let's see a picture when your done)
