Yep ... very addictive!
Acquired my first cap and ball revolver about 1970. I have about eight of them now -- not a big collection but a good variety.
I just wish I could find an 1849 .31-caliber with 5 or 5-1/2" barrel. Shot a friend's years ago, with this longer barrel, and it so much better balanced than my 4" version.
Seemed to be more accurate too.
I learned one thing long ago too: buy a kit box a whole lot bigger than you think you'll need, because you'll surely fill it with all kinds of doodads, different caliber balls, etc.
Yep, an addictive, enjoyable sport.
