I just bought 3 tins of these at the local Bass Pro Shop. I just fired off a few. They fit my standard, unaltered nipple just fine, all caps had firing compound firmly attached and they fire right off with normal power. I don’t know what all the complaining is about these new caps.
Your lucky I have not
seen a 11 cap anywhere have tried All over.
None in Arkansas

I was able to pick up a few tins from Wallys several months ago. The can I am using presently we're all fine knock on wood.

Yeah, RWS #11 @ $55 per 250 tin and CCI# 10 @ $132 per 1000. A few months ago RWS 250 ct tins were going for $35
If memory serves me, the CCI #11's I got at Wally's were just a bit over 5 bucks? I've only used a partial ton of the rew I was able to get. Who knows if there is a rat in the woodpile. Good way to check for flinching I guess.

I cannot agree more. I put slixshot on all 3 of my pistols (see name for pistols). Fits all Rem 10 and 11, CCI 11, RWS1075. Just fine. No falling off, No pinching.
Hundreds of posts with problems, i dont get it. Guess i got lucky.

FWIW... until I comitted heresy and installed a 209 primer attachment to my .54, all I ever used from the late 1990s up until last fall was CCI caps. Never had a problem with any going bang.

Didn't "whack the stock" right during loading once in the last days of Oklahoma's late-year antlerless season in 2022 and scattered a group of does with only the sound of the CCI ... I found no powder in the drum. So, since I had 1,000 209s in the safe, I opted for MORE FIRE ... and 209s seem to always work too. Still have quite a few #11 CCI caps, and wouldn't be afraid to use them anywhere...as long as "whack" the stock just right during loading.
