Years ago I picked up and shouldered a New Englander 12 ga. and loved the way the gun fit me! But, I didn't buy it at the time. Some time later I started regreting not buying it, but by then the bike was gone.
Well I finally purchase a 50 cal. New Englander in unfired condition, and the best part is I know where there is a 12 ga. barrel! Got to make a short drive to pick it up.

Good score!

I've been watching for one, and they're scarcer than hen's teeth. If you find one, they're asking more than I paid for my NE 54. The whole rifle!
