Who makes a decent frizzen for the T/C flintlock?
Years ago, my old, original, gave up in very short order, so I had TC send me another (but blued instead of their fake case-hardened).
I know this replacement will likely also quit sparking soon, so . . . .
Where can I get a GOOD replacement?
Thanx-a-bunch.

Yup, Oxyoke has them. Look for the Lyman frizzens machined to fit TCs. About $34 bucks. I bought a replacement for each of my TCs several years ago. Haven't tried them yet.
TC replaced the frizzen on my Renegade quite a few years ago. The replacement, like yours, was the new style (black) rather than the old case hardened. It has seen hundreds of strikes and still sparks like new. It never hurts to have a spare but I believe you will see a big difference in the frizzen you have now.
Take care,
Ed
