Welcome from Michigan -- looks like I'm about an hour north of you. Would be neat to put a group together for a shoot if you or anyone else in the area is interested?
That would be a reasonable excuse to get the Charleville out for something more than exploding watermelons (which only takes one shot).

I am also a hoosier ( who now lives in SD) , and welcome! People don't realize how big traditional muzzleloading is out there, unless you're from there! For years, muzzleloaders and shotguns were the only weapons allowed for deer hunting. And all of the serious deer hunters used them for 30+ years before the inlines came out! Plus there's friendship!
