Hello Sean. Glad that you decided to join in on this madness. If you have any questions just ask away. They will be answered straight away. We are also always interested in whatever knowledge you may be able to share with us. Keep in mind that we are like little children. We like pictures. I will be coming out to your state next week. Kokomo has their Veteran reunion and we'll all be there. Shoot safe my friend, and welcome.

What's up, fellow Hoosier! Glad to see you on the forum! I'll see you around.

Welcome to the forum. What type of musket are you looking at building? What time period are you looking at as there are several groups in the state that do differant periods that can guide you onto the right trail? Here are a few places to come out to visit folks to get an idea of where you want to go.
I'm with the 35th Indiana / 1st Fighting Irish CW unit and we'll be in Hartfor City, IN. 07-09 Oct and then there's Tippecanoe's 200th anniversary the 04-06 Nov, and I'll be with Major Fishers American uniformed militia. So if you've the time come out and visit and alot of the guys will share their knowledge, tips, hints and you may get a few points of contacts for groups you can join There are quite a few of us here so if you've a question ask someone will have the answer or answers. Wishing you the best of luck so keep yer chin ta the wind.

Sean,
you watch out for Bangfxr, he WILL corrupt you and turn you into something quite different than what is considered socially acceptable. :rotf:

But then again, what would life be if for not a bit of fun!!

And also Sean, the third weekend in Feb. at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds is our Antique Gunshow and Living History faire. See you then!!

Welcome to the forum!!

Cheers, DonK

Parts gun. I'll get a thread started when I've got all my parts together. Still needing a barrel and a few small things and I'll be ready.
Sean
