Spent the night in Lawrenceburg for the CLA show a couple of years ago. Could smell the distillery from a mile away. Welcome from Michigan.

Is that the Contemporary Longrifle Association? How was it? What goes on down there? Oh yeah, the whole town smells like it. All of the houses over there are covered in whiskey fungus.

Hello all!

New guy from Indiana here, just completed my first Traditions Kentucky kit. I've been reading up as much as I can here, I'm very excited to join in on these talks and soak up some information.

Best,

Rob

Maybe! I haven't been there since I was a teenager, do they have BP related happenings there?
You bet! It's the HQ of the NMLRA. Spring and fall nationals, plenty of other shoots throughout the year. They have everything not just BP, EVEN primitive archery. Woodswalks, trap and skeet, shillouets. I can't even think of everything. Plus there are awesome vendors there for the nationals, get you everything to build a new gun!

Awesome. Is it the same time and date as the flea market thing? I want to get it on my calendar.

Welcome from SoCal- you’re in the epicenter of muzzleloader country!
You could drive over to Kiblers in Ohio, buy a kit, swing down to WKU and have the “Evil Mike Brooks” show you some magic building it then make a beeline for Friendship to shoot it… all in the same day!!
