Having used and tested both RWS and Schutzen in competition, for accuracy, there's no difference.

The difference is Schutzen uses a slightly harder metal. Depending on the geometry of the nipple, Schutzen "might" misfire but it will go off on the second hit. What's happening is the cap is being driven down onto the nipple and there's not enough force to set off the cap. A very minor adjustment to nipple geometry and this goes away completely. All my guns are so modified and I wouldn't hesitate to use Schutzen.

Folks you can say you need something and you can then start a PM back and forth, but you can't up up ads nor openly discuss the Sale of Black powder or a substitute, the making of black powder, nor the actual sale.

I have left the general body of the thread up so that PM's may be generated.
