new guy here. I live in Georgia. Like many here I'm sure, I grew up shooting with my dad. Mostly a lot of rimfire, but as time progressed, we did shoot some blackpowder. Mostly rifles, still have the 36 and 54 caliber rifles, and might sell a few others in the near future but wanted to learn a bit more about them first.
Since it's been so long since I've burnt some FFF, figured this would be a good a place as any to read about some of the rifles, pistols, and their history.
I do shoot "modern" stuff like 45 colt, 32-20, and some others that probably started life in the BP realm (even picked up a Marlin 45-70 recently) and cast bullets, but soon will take my daughter out and show her the old "smoke poles".
