Hey all,

I'm new to this forum, but have been on ARFcom, Gunboards and CMP forums under the same username for years. I collect all kinds of firearms - but have built quite a collection of Civil War muskets, rifles and BP Pistols over the years. I joined here on the recommendation of "Shine" - a fellow Northern Mainer and Firearms/Muzzleloading enthusiast.

I'm excited to get into your Equipment Exchange - I have a few things to share/sell/trade - and I'm hoping a may find a top jaw for my Nathan Starr 1816 musket.

I appreciate good bourbon, I have a thing for old Jeeps and Toyotas and I moonlight as an armorer for the local gun shop.

Thanks for having me!

L.J.

Did some land speed racing at Loring AFB a few years ago and some friends ran at Spud's Speedway. The County is beautiful in the summer, probably is in the winter too but I'd hate to deal with the snow.

The older I get, the less I like the snow and the cold.

I used to work for Limestone PD years ago - Loring was a neat place to patrol - lots of cool old relics and sights to see out there.

Anybody that appreciates good bourbon is my kinda guy. Welcome from Packer country. There's some pretty damn good bourbon comes from Wisconsin, believe it or not:

But this rye is out of this world:

I don't think I've had anything from Wisconsin. I'll have to check it out.

I'm a big Old Forester fan, I like Blanton's, Stagg, E.H. Taylor, etc.

I'm a Tennessee Squire - so naturally I also enjoy some Jack from time to time - and I tend not to turn down a good Scotch either. LoL
