Greetings,
Friends call me Tyger, I was a reenactor back in the 90's and am getting back into it again.

Here is the reason I'm joining this forum: I took my old Brown Bess to the trading post and traded her in for a used fowler and between there and home my ramrod tip got busted off.
Well it's one of those tapered jobbies and all my experience is with metal military rods.
After I got through cussing for a few days, I scoured the net and found a technique that seemed logical and feasible for me to attempt.It was put forth by a guy called Stumpkiller and worked out real well for me.
Looking forward to learning even more .
