Hello fellers, well the Missus surprised me when I got home today. She whipped up a really nice haversack complete with some of our handmades (flint kit, lemongrass soap, old knife/fork, salt bag, etc.). She made it in a frock style, completed on the inside with ticking and then dyed the whole thing. Thing is it only took a couple of hours. Hope y'all like it...Bud

Nifeman,
If that sweet lady can cook as good as she makes bags, you better hold on to her. That is a very nice looking bag, I really like the fringe detail on the flap and nice looking extras too. Luck.

Thanks fellas, yes she is. She's been puttin up with me fer purty near 33 yrs. ...Bud

I like it. You might want to make a little leather stall to slip over the tines of that fork. They tend to poke through your haversack (and skin)

Nice work... I kinda like the smaller style bags myself.

Those 12" x 15" monsters are too easy to overload...
