I'm both new here and new to the great sport of muzzle loading.
I've been involved with medeval recreation and swordsmanship for a while now, and have just recently expanded into muzzleloading arms.
I purchased a .44 cal flintlock kentucky pistol for my first arm, it's an older modern itallian manufacture, I don't have much more info on it than that. It carries a brass trigger, gaurd sideplate, and endcap, a case hardened lock and browned, octagonal barrel with no markings present.
I'm thrilled with this piece, dispite a simple touchole and it's age, it hasn't yet failed to ignite, with its as so far limited use by me.
